I painted and rented studios in Alexandria, Virginia for 28 years, concluding with nine years at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. I focused primarily on landscapes.
Since my husband and I bought a farmhouse in Rixeyville, Virginia, I have been spending as much time as possible outdoors -- gardening, birdwatching, and hiking. For now, being outdoors seems more compelling to me than painting the outdoors!

On this website, I have organized my paintings into Portfolios by subject matter.
Under each image, you can see the details on each painting.
Most pieces are oil paintings on canvas. The "unframed" paintings are ready to hang on the wall. The painting continues around the edges of the canvas, which are 1.5" deep.
Some paintings are oils or acrylics on heavy watercolor paper. These are matted and framed under glass.
